"Elhim-Iskra" JSC is one of the leading producers of lead-acid starter storage batteries and it has 45 years of traditions. The products of the firm conform to the European standards BSS EN 60095. The wide range of starter batteries from 12V/44Ah to 12V/210Ah satisfies completely the needs of the market. The production of the firm is divided into three product lines:

| Maintenance free starter batteries – Ca. |
These are the last series of starter batteries which conform to the European Type Number (ETN). During the course of production a new type of alloy is used – lead-calcium, as well as a new technology for producing the active mass. These series have the following advantages:
they don’t need any maintenance under normal conditions of exploitation
they don’t need any addition of distilled water. The calcium alloy guarantees minimum consumption of water and that is why these starter batteries are known as "maintenance free"
they have a very low self-discharge. That increases the term for storage in charged condition.
their charging in the car and the starting are done immediately.
they have a higher start current than the standard starter batteries
they allow visualization of the condition of the starter battery. The specially-assembled “eye” on the lid gives information about the condition at any time of the exploatation
The series include starter batteries from 12V/44Ah to 12V/100Ah.

| Max energy – ME. |
These are also new series of the firm which conform to the requirements for European Type Number (ETN). The starter batteries of type ME are with central gas-leading which is lead away laterally and which reduces the risk for gas-concentration and limits the possibility for explosion. These starter batteries guarantee:
higher start current
sure start when the temperatures are low.
longer lifespan
The series include starter batteries from 12V/44Ah to 12V/85Ah.

These are the series of starter batteries from 12V/44Ah to 12V/210Ah. These types are with universal application, traditional high quality and reliability.

| Traction Batteries |
"Elhim-Iskra" JSC, located in Pazardzhik city, produces traction batteries intended for operating hoisting and hauling machinery.The traction batteries divide into three types depending on the production technology:

| Traction pasted batteries |
At this type of batteries the active mass is laid on by pasting machines through appointed pressure over the grids.

| Traction panzer batteries |
At this type of batteries the positive plate has a complex configuration of detached broaches put in special tubular separator. The active mass in the form of suspension is supercharged under high pressure by special machines.

| Batteries with enhanced resource |
The identification of Bulgarian standards with the European ones led to the production of new types of traction batteries with enhanced resource – class L.

the traction batteries are assembled in metal cases with plastic coating by unique technology of “Elhim-Iskra” JSC which resists all of the aggressive effects under heavy-duty regime.
